you can see the face I’m making and I can’t breathe like I’m not breathing did you hear that it’s me gasping for breath
I just needed to reblog this again.
Because jfc, you don’t understand how important this scene is to me.
Or maybe you do!
Because it has Jack openly showing his affection and admiration for two people of different gender in the exact same way, making no difference at all, and neither do Rose nor the Doctor. Zilch. No hesitating, no flinching, no comic relief.
I wish it could be like this more often.
That scene up there is doing everything right, end of story. And while Jack’s sexuality is often made out to be something to smile at, it’s also shown as very natural and Nine was just cool with that, no reason not to be.
Acceptance: You’re doing it right.

Well it’s going to be… melty, that’s for sure.
But also probably delicious.

No, this is a lovely question, thank you! C:
Alistair and Cullen tie it up, and long story short it’s because over the progression of the series they have the capacities to experience the most character growth.
Alistair starts off spineless and naive and by the time you reach Those Who Speak he is still the same good hearted and brave person, but he is wiser and has nerve and he just grows into himself. Granted, this is not canon for everyone, but like I said he has the capacity. I love Alistair something fierce, and the character growth he experiences in Orgins alone is awesome (ain’t nobody but death ripping him and his Arwyn Amell apart ;o;). And he is just so sweet that it melts my ooy gooy damn heart.
He’s totally a Gryffindor, and I have a soft spot for those like woah.
Besides the point. If you get him to be hardened enough, there isn’t a single damn thing he won’t do for your warden (Loghain killing aside) and that’s why I believe one day he and Arwyn, with or without Axameter, would get married. He’s such an understanding person, that I think confronted with Arwyn’s mage status and desire to be married before she lays with him… I just can’t imagine him denying her that, even if they had to do the ceremony in secret. After all, in the ending where she died he makes the Circle totally independant, so I imagine that in the version where she lives (were I to leave it un-modded) eventually they would make it work.
And ah, that’s a lot of babbling about marriage and sex right there, whoops, and it has nothing to do with his character except it does.
Also, look at those brown eyes. sdkjhjdkfds
ANYWAYS, likewise, Cullen starts off jittery as fuck (especially if you have a female Amell/Surana) and goes from just being a Templar doing his duty to going batshit and taking it way too far. But then he A [Pro-Templar Ending]) Tells Meredith to shove off when she goes after Hawke after taking as many mages to safety as possible or B [Pro-Mage Ending]) Joins Hawke and saves the mages at the last second, although you don’t know what he was doing behind the scenes while Hawke was with Orsino. He just realizes that mages are people, and I really really hope there’s the possibility that Cullen/(Amell or Surana) can become canon in DA3, maybe in the way you make Aveline and Donnic hook up, and only if you don’t romantically pursue him (because lets face it he’s probably in your party) and your Amell didn’t romance someone else. And, if you do romance him, I think getting him closure with her should be his personal quest before you are allowed to pursue him, ahem, completely.
Mages are my favorite class, so it’s almost ironic that a former templar and full blown templar are my favorites, but there you have it!
